Slayers 2 Beginner Guide: Level 1 to 25
Updated Sep 21, 2026
Slayers 2 drops you into a big open world with almost no tutorial. This guide covers what to do in your first few hours so you don’t waste Wen or wander into zones you can’t handle.
Before you play: roll your clan
Open Customize from the main menu to spin for a clan. Clans come in six rarities, and Supreme is the hardest to get at just 0.1%.
Don’t chase a Supreme right away. An Uncommon or Rare clan is plenty to start with. Once you land one, tap it and read its skills, passives, and stats, since every clan plays differently.

Learn the basics
You start with three tools:
- Fists: Click to attack. Weak, but fine for your first fights.
- Dash: Use it to reposition and dodge.
- Block: The most important one. Blocking stops damage and keeps you from getting stunned. Players who only spam attacks die a lot, so mix blocks in between your hits.
Levels 1 to 7: bandits
Find Krue near where you spawn. Take his quest to defeat three bandits before you start fighting, so every kill counts toward it. Repeat the bandit quest until you hit level 7.
Level 7: the Bandit Boss
Krue now offers the Bandit Boss quest. The boss respawns every few minutes and drops XP, Wen, and a gear chest.
Anyone can grab the chest, even if you did most of the damage. Stay close when the boss is almost dead so you’re ready to loot it. Farm regular bandits while you wait for it to respawn.
Your first weapon upgrades
Visit Raze to buy swords:
| Weapon | Cost |
|---|---|
| Regular Katana | 500 Wen |
| Fancy Katana | 1,500 Wen |
Buy the Regular Katana as soon as you can afford it. It’s a big jump over fists. Save up for the Fancy Katana next.
Gear: stats over rarity
You’ll pick up gear from bosses, shops, and other sources. Always compare the actual stats before equipping. A lower-rarity piece can be better for your build than a rare one.
Spend your skill points
You earn skill points every time you level up. Spend them on health and stamina, better blocking, and movement like double jump and wall climbing. Check your skill tree often, since unspent points are wasted power.
Levels 13 to 25: bears
At level 13, head to the next area to fight bears. There are two bear quests: one at level 13 and another at level 18. Do the first, then switch when you unlock the second.
Player-vs-player combat is on in this area. Keep an eye on who’s nearby, especially when your health is low.
Pick up side quests
Talk to NPCs as you explore. Many have side quests with solid XP and Wen rewards, and you can often finish them alongside your main quests.
Level 25: Breathing Style
At level 25 you can unlock your Breathing Style, the next big step for Slayers.
